Stanton has launched a new turntable that’s aimed at its traditional pro market as well as the home user – the Stanton T.90 USB high-torque turntable.It offers all you would expect from a professional-level deck, but adds in USB connectivity and digital conversion software – that means you can transfer your vinyl to digital format for playback on your portable device or computer, but still play it out using the genuine article.
As a deck, it offers a high-torque direct drive motor, Key Lock built-in, so DJs can adjust the tempo of a record without affecting pitch, S-Shaped tone arm for superior tracking when scratching, two Start/Stop switches, 3 playback speeds (33, 45, 78 RPM), pitch control slider and the Stanton 500B cartridge, slip mat and cloth dust cover.
There’s no date for release as yet, but it’s expected to come in at around £250 and will probably -eventually- level out at a price similar to the Numark TTUSB (£150).
