The East London area of Shoreditch has become synonymous with underground music events that have captivated an international clubbing crowd. Parties like secretsundaze, Kubicle and Wrong attract people from around the country – and even around the world – but now they could be forced to close as the authorities decide to clamp down on nocturnal activities in the area.

A recent article in (UK newspaper) the Standard stated that more than a third of the 150 bars/clubs in Shoreditch could be forced to close – unless they cut down on their opening hours and introduce more security measures i.e searches and video cameras.

The area has witnessed a marked increase in obvious Police activity
