Found lurking in the creative laboratory known as the `Deadmau5 Disco Den of Despair and Inequity’ this creative genius runs the gamut of beats unlike any other. Since the inception of Deadmau5 (pronounced Dead Mouse – not Dead-Mau-5) this one man music machine has stormed our planet with productions that far exceed his years or experience.

Why the name Deadmu5? “Well, it’s pretty random actually… so am I” is this Canadian’s response.

Already the talk of the dance fraternity with the likes of Tiesto, Carl Cox, Nic Fanciulli, James Zabiela, Paul Van Dyke, Sasha, John Digweed, Sebastien Leger and everyone in between playing his music it’s clear to see that Deadmau5 is going to become a household name.

Tracks like `Faxing Berlin’ and `Jaded’ have cemented his reputation within the last 12 months and with a further release called `Alone with You’ out in early Oct 2007 (on digital only) and a full EP – `Before and After’ (digital and vinyl) out at the end of October Deadmau5′s presence will only get stronger.

His relentless music making and remixing has seen Beatport attacked like never before, with Deadmau5 having 5 out of the top 10 selling tunes on the worldwide site in the week of August 25th 2007; he is still the number one searched artist on Beatport. Add to this a consistent release schedule and a huge interest in seeing him gig and quite simply we have the biggest find of 2007.

Pete Tong has even invited Deadmau5 to complete a December Hot Mix under his `Hero’s of 2007′ banner.
