AREA51, one of the most hotly anticipated new clubs to open in Manchester today announces it has been granted the only late clubbing licence in Manchester. This will form the basis of the new Saturday Night Sessions playing the best in underground dance music from 1.30am – 9am. With the club launch only a matter of days away intense speculation and internet chatter has intensified since the curious and highly suspicious abduction of several renowned DJ’s and club events nationwide (MYNC Project, Tom Novy, Judge Jules, Micky Slim, Trophy Twins, Will Bailey, Sandy Rivera, Robots Need Oil)
Rumours of stealth style technology being present at this site have been corroborated by reliable witness reports that a notorious FUNKTION 1 agent has been observed making clandestine visits to this location. With all testing now complete Saturday Sessions will change the way clubbers in Manchester go out, meaning they can go at it for longer and harder complete with the futuristic sounds from the best DJ’s from around the globe.
Saturday Sessions kick off on 2nd February with the head honcho’s of mighty Cr2 Records. Step forward MYNC Project, they are renowned for their four-decks/ two-mixer shows and innumerable effects units, where they take DJing beyond simply playing other people’s music into the realms of musical creation and live performance, twisting pre-recorded sounds into new and original dancing spells. Mark Brown and Nick Corelli make up this dynamic duo, who have created their own brand of quality underground house and have been playing together for eight years.
Several very talent residents will also be on hand to provide the weekly Saturday mayhem playing cutting edge music of the times to suit a cool forward thinking audience. So if you are an electro sceptic, a techno disbeliever, a minimal tech doubter or a dirty-twisted house conspiracy theorist, then I would urge you to make your way to this location on Saturday 2nd FEBRUARY to see the Manchester club scene change for good.
