At 29 Brighton-raised Friction is one of only a handful of DJs to smash their way through the ranks and become leader of the pack simply through an unbelievable talent behind the decks, utilising three decks to mash up his mixes and provide an experience quite like no other. As a teenager Friction was busy playing and promoting events in Brighton when he hooked up with local producers Stakka & K-Tee who were heavily involved in Andy C’s Ram Records imprint. Many hours of intense studio action later and in ’99 Friction dropped his debut single ‘Critical Mass’ under the Kinnetix guise which spurred major labels and soon he was releasing tracks on hype labels such as Valve, Tru Playaz, Trouble On Vinyl, 31 Records, Hospital, Charge and Renegade Hardware alongside his own Shogun Audio imprint. Friction has won numerous accolades such as ‘Best Newcomer’ in the Drum & Bass Arena Awards (2002) Best Breakthrough DJ and Knowledge Awards (2003) ‘Best Newcomer’ at Accelerated Culture Awards, ‘Best DJ’ at MTV Romania Awards (2007). Friction has taken over the world with his unique D&B sound and here he lays down the latest and freshest tracks.

Fabio is a man who needs little introduction, a DJ who has been firmly at the forefront of the Dance / Rave / D&B / Jungle scene for over two decades he has acquired legendary status for what he has achieved. Starting his career as a pirate radio DJ in the mid 80s playing Dub, Rare Groove and Hip Hop joining together with long time DJ Partner Grooverider the pair happened to be in the right place at the right time when acid house exploded across London and the UK. Spinning early house music then championing the darker, more bass heavy rave music which went onto become known as Jungle and Drum & Bass, alongside Grooverider the duo have remained the leaders of this genre for over twenty years! Taking the music from the raves to the radio first on Kiss FM, then onto Radio 1 where they hosted their legendary ‘One In The Jungle’ weekly shows and now the weekly ‘Drum & Bass Show’ where Fabio still continues to champion new talent and sounds.
