Dust Bar, London is 10!

dustbarlogoDust Bar, set in the heart of fashionable Clerkenwell, was opened up for 3 reasons – music, design, relaxation, and they have consistently provided this to the creative professionals that gather here. Jon and Andy, the 2 managing partners in this venture, also haver 2 other uber cool venues under their sharp business belt – Industry in Shoreditch, as well as newbies Home Bar in Shoreditch and The Pelican in Nottinghill. So it really is very exciting times for these guys!

Dust is an old Victorian factory building, its urban design has recently been buffed up by refurbishment last year. It boasts original design features of exposed brickwork, cast iron support beams and wooden flooring, creating a vibrant, buzzy atmosphere. With 2 floors, a capacity of 350 and a drinking license until 4am Dust has grown to be a first choice watering hole in the area. Its urban cool space is often utilised for Corporate events, be that an area of inspiration for a lunch meeting, a sophisticated space for a reception, or film and magazine shoots. Smaller groups regularly book areas for drinks, while larger parties hire the private lounge or venue exclusively. Having hosted parties for the likes of Net A Porter and Morgan Stanley, they certainly know how to rise to the occasion.

Renowned as one of London’s original and leading DJ bars, they have had the pleasure of breaking new talent as well as booking some of the country’s most revered names in music. Residents and guest DJs include: Joe Ransom (Fabric Live/Kiss), The Jinks (Mn2s), Lost and Found, Stuart Patterson (Faith), Dan Hayes and Paul Barkworth (Smokey Beats).

Dust has an impressive cocktails list of the straight-laced, mixed, muddled and shaken variety, with a combination of quality ingredients, skill and enthusiasm our legendary cocktails will have you coming back for more! Food wise, its simple fresh and original lunch dishes, and they also provide impressively original canapés for groups. Accolades include being voted as Top Venue by the Brand Council for 2005’s “Cool Brand Leader” Award, alongside the likes of the London Eye, Somerset House and Hakkasan.

With 10 years behind it of providing all of these things, they have some serious partying ahead, for in the first week in June they are celebrating their 10th Birthday, with a series of innovative promotions that will have the whole venue seriously shaking with fun and top quality music
