QOC-Recordings announces it’s fourth release via Plastic Music label management. Here we have four excellent remixes lurking of Joyce Mercedes’ Golden Glow by producers Tomic, Fitalic, Splashfunk, and Bobby Deep.
For those who have yet to be be acquainted with Joyce Mercedes, she lives in Amsterdam, and is an international DJ of great stature and talent. She has travelled all around the globe and has displayed her immense passion for music in the largest and most popular clubs in the world, and is rated as one of the best female female progressive house DJs.
She is well known throughout the underground music scene and has progressive house in the most pure form, in her blood. Joyce enjoys stimulating other people’s senses like a hypnotist who knows how to stun the dance floor. The words funky, techy, full-of-soul, tribal, trancey and psychedelic can all be found in her musical vocabulary.
Golden Glow was Joyce Mercedes’ debut release on her own QOC-Recordings in 2007, and is classic anthemic progressive house. Here it is re-released along with four brand new remixes. Tomic (aka Robert Wagner, from Germany) opens the proceedings with his typical bouncy percussive progressive style. Splashfunk (from Italy) toughens up the original vibe with some sizzling energetic beats. Bobby Deep (aka Mpampis Vasilos, from Greece) delivers a bold conga intro-ed, funked-up remix that has a classic acid house edge. Finally, Fitalic (aka Robin Fitter, from Holland) brings the package to a close with a big room energetic progressive house finale. A very high quality concise package indeed.
