The world’s leading DJ: Tiësto continues his global search for the perfect beat this time taking us to the Far East for the seventh instalment of his In Search Of Sunrise series subtitled ‘Asia’

Inspired by, mixed and recorded in Thailand during his recent spring tour (check www.tiesto.com for an exclusive behind-the-scenes video of the making of the CD!) ‘In Search Of Sunrise 7 – Asia’ captures the peaceful and intensively passionate way of life Tijs Verwest encountered during his recent visit. The soundtrack offers a seamless trip through the latest and best trance, techno and house the track listing features tried and tested dance floor anthems that guaranteed the best reactions on the crowds during the tour.

With past stops in Latin America, Los Angeles and last year’s Ibiza, Tiësto shows that Asia gave him the inspiration to deliver a brand new, double mix album that beautifully expresses what he experienced on his journeys.

“I wanted to mix the concept behind In Search Of Sunrise 7 over two separate sets in such a fashion that the listeners can get a proper impression of what it means to tour Asia”, he says. “Disc one will dwell on the easy going ambience and overwhelming beauty of the continent, whereas the second disc will focus on the incredible energy of the Asian people I felt during the live sets throughout the Asian tour”.

To support the release of the new album, Tiësto kicks off a dedicated North American 2008 ‘In Search Of Sunrise’ Summer Tour, with 36 shows rolling across the States and Canada from the 23rd May. He will then host an exclusive two month-long residency at Ibiza’s biggest club: Privilege where Tiësto will be the resident every Monday starting from July 7th until the closing party on the 22nd of September. Tiësto will deliver his four hour DJ sets in the style of his In Search Of Sunrise series, supported by a newly developed and custom made state of the art production.

Closer to home, Tiësto will perform four massive ‘In Search Of Sunrise’ shows – starting in Ireland with two massive shows starting at Ballinlough Castle, Dublin on 2nd August followed by Shane’s Castle, Antrim on the 5th August, then onto the main arena at London’s 02 Arena on 8th August followed by the Royal Highland Centre in Scotland on 9th August!
