EBM (Electronic Body Movement) are true stalwarts in scene-sonic Shoreditch, always pushing all of the right buttons with their faultless knowlege of deep, underground house music. For this special shakedown at Platinum, The EBM residents JB (also Retox resident) and Darren Roach spin, bringing with them headliner Deep House guru Falko Brocksieper from Berlin (full info below) along with an influx of tasty disco from the Lasermagnetic Boys and Balearic wisdom from Fabric regulars Pete Herbet and Phil Mison (Reverso 68). This not too often occuring cocktail of DJ-ing genius nicely co-incides with the Love Box weekend bash, just a hop skip and jump away in near by Victoria Park. EBM @ Platinum on 19th July is the best Saturday night option for kids in the know to keep the fun going for what promises be the hottest party weekend in East London this year.

The headliner Falko Brocksieper is founder of hot Berlin based Sub Static label, and boasts recent firm seals of approval from the likes of Craig Richards, Jay Haze and Mike Monday to name but a few. This guy is recognised as a totally in demand talent who is climbing to the top. Falko stops off at Platinum for this special EBM event during his globe trotting tour, bringing with him a deliciously playful, deep analog funk based sound which is functionally driving, with a definite melodic sensibility to keep things moving and fresh. Falko plays intellectual dance music for a sexy and on the pulse crowd who relish in the seriously in demand deep house sound of the moment.

Platinum is based over 4 levels, and after a recent refurbishment, is even more stylish than ever, still keeping a firm grip on its policy to provide the freshest underground sounds. Platinum has all of the dustings required to make it the perfect place to disco. And they serve the drinks in real glasses all night long too! Convieniently located on Paul Street, EC2A just a couple of mins walk from Great Eastern street, one of the sides that makes up the Shoreditch triangle, Platinum attracts an in the know crowd who like to diverse slightly from the main drag of the scene to find true gems.
