On Saturday, August 2, Global Frequencies sets sail around NYC with a DJ set from world-renowned London DJ collective, SOS (Comprised of Desyn Masielo, Omid 16B and Demi). The SOS boys mark their NYC boat party debut by fashioning a set that leans heavily toward their recent Balance 013 mix CD. This event will feature a spot-on selection of sounds from yesterday, today and tomorrow’s electronic maestros.
Global Frequencies is making quite a name for itself by throwing some of the best summer dance music boat parties in recent memory. The series kicked off Memorial Day weekend with local heroes John Creamer & Stephane K, while DJs Luke Fair and James Talk operated the decks for a “Wild West” themed Father’s Day cruise. The August 2 cruise promises to be the most exciting yet as it’s powered by heavyweight international talent!
The August 2 event also marks the first cruise in which Global Frequencies will be sailing by Danish artist Olafur Eliasson’s much-hyped “New York City Waterfalls” exhibition; located at several destinations along the sailing route. This cruise promises unforgettable sights and sounds.
