For this first project, Francesco Farfa has been inspired by a sample taken from a very old track (titled “Magdalen” ) by Anthony Phillips (Genesis). 5 different interpretations will be made commercially available: the 1st & 2nd Inspiration Mixes are Farfa’s original versions, and these are joined by remixes from Alen Sforzina and Joy Kitikonti (two highly skilled veterans of the techno and progressive house scenes) and Sandro C (a fresh Italian DJ/producer discovered by Farfa on Myspace)

Alen Sforzina from Firenze (Italy), started out in the early 80s playing bass, synths and drum machines in underground electro bands. He then moved to Innsbruck (Austria) in 1988 and started DJing two years later. From 1997-2006 Alen lived in Graz (Austria) where he ran a music studio Performing both as a DJ and a live act he combines various styles (Electronic – House – Techno) rather than sticking to just one style, and performs all over Europe. In 2006 Alen decided to move from to Florence (Italy), where he is now working on music projects with Francesco Farfa.

Joy Kitikonti – Musician, DJ and Producer – is a polyhedric artist with many musical successes, important partnerships and awards in his background. All these experiences have made him the complete artist he is today. Joy has already released hundreds of tracks, both under his real name and under different pseudonyms. Two years ago he started up his own label, Footlovers Music, which releases music by young and talented producers. After many years Joy and Francesco Farfa are now working together again, and ‘Founding Magdalene’ features a stunning remix from Joy. Joy Kitikonti is a complete artist and he has a deep musical background, he’s greatly respected by his colleagues for his creative imagination and his original sound, but especially for his unbelievable technical ability at the mixing desk.
