Sunday the 16th of November sees IFIDOTA Music Department launch itself into the public domain.

IFIDOTA is an abbreviation for ‘Institute for Intergalactic dissemination of the Arts’. We see IFIDOTA as a platform for Art & Music, combining visual arts and electronic music, and our launch at Retox will be a chance for us to showcase our talents to the max.

We would really like our nearest and dearest to join us on this night of music and general merriment. Retox is a central hub of underground electronica in London, a place for music industry and passionate party folk to let loose at the end of the weekend. Regulars to Retox are constantly spoilt with the best underground house music talents, and it has remained a packed out venue week in week out during its 3 years of existence.

The basement will be totally transformed on the night courtesy of video projections by PUREA and d̩cor by IFIDOTA. Expect to walk into a truly special space Рas well as the visual treats that we have in store, the sound emanating from the Basement promises to be finely tuned audio bliss.

First up we have StephunkT & live guests, joined by a duo in the name of Dr. Caligari & Somnabulist, who will get the party started with their nicely honed live production talents

Next up we have double trouble in the shape of Sandeman & Mr Dickie. Their sound has caught the attention of promoters across the capital leading to bookings at some of London’s most prestigious venues including Public Life (Toilet Party), The Cross, MOS, and Pacha. Further afield their music has reached party people at the Wickerman Festival, and across the pond at Miami WMC, Room Service @ Standard Downtown, LA.

Special guest for the evening will be Tomoki Tamura. Tomoki’s trademark fusion of deep, tech, electro, minimal and soulful influences has won him many admirers and he has graced our very own airwaves as the first ever Japanese DJ on Ministry of Sound Radio while currently holding a weekly slot on House FM and of course his own creation ‘Holic’ at the AKA.

Retox upstairs will host Dj JB and special guests Dj Colin Dale accompanied by Jacksonville live.
