The Japanese Popstars have remixed international glamourpuss, Beyonce. The Northern Irish upstarts were drafted in to add their take on her forthcoming single ‘If I Were A Boy’, and it’s not like anything you’ll have heard from the US star. Fresh from touring with Basement Jaxx and Justice in Japan, The Japanese Popstars have also confirmed they’ll be playing Manchester’s Warehouse Project on New Year’s Eve.

The band hit London again this weekend, when they play Matter on Saturday, this is their first gig at the venue and the first London show since Fabric in August. The trio have also confirmed 3 ‘homecoming’ shows in December, including Dublin on the 5 December at Button Factory, then Xmas gigs at Derry’s Nerve Centre on Boxing Day, and Shine in Belfast on 27 December.
