Family Affair is back on 20th June for a special Summer Solstice party. Providing the best in deep underground minimal & tech house, the packed in crew for this do will party hard for the first sunrise of Summer. The strong residents and amazing surprise guests every month at Family Affair make this do an essential date for any underground electronic music lover’s diary. Secret guests who’ve stayed the night to entertain the family in previous months have included Teifshwarz, Claude Von Stroke, Giles Smith, Terry Francis, Rob Mello, Kenny Hawkes & Pure Science (to name but a few).
The Family will get in the Summer swing of things this month when the Family Room fills up with residents & Ifidota label crew Sandeman & Mr Dickie, JB, T Boy, Charlotte Michelle 11th & Iamjarring (special ‘one off’ Solstice appearance) host yet another banging party. This month’s special secret guest will be the usual & impressive high standard – I can’t reveal anymore than that at the moment because as usual, until the night it’s a big family secret!
We welcome the crème del la crème of Manchester’s party scene to the Guest Room – ‘Back To Front’. These boys host monthly house and techno raves in some weird and wonderful locations around Manchester, and bring their ‘Back to Front’ yet perfectly fitting house and techno flavours to the first floor of the venue. Next to their own resident Protocol, they also bring along guests Adam Shelton from Below (Birmingham’s top rave up) plus Frenchy from the longest standing and best house and techno nights in the country Back to Basics (Manchester)
With super strong crews from North (Back to Front) and South (Family Affair/Ifidota Music) of the UK in the venue, and after a longer than usual 6 week break since the last Family Affair, its fair to say this one is set to be a total corker of a night – Dont be left out, come and join the family!
