This brand new compilation is a collection of the finest and fiercest tracks Mark Doyle has compiled over the last few years. The idea was to make a series of mixes and full 12†downloads from the very best of the Fierce Angel series, these new “Remixed†albums would only be available on download. As the album came close to release it became clear it would make an awesome CD release as well. Fierce Disco Remixed will be released on all digital platforms from June 22nd and there will be 10,000 ltd edition CD’s made available worldwide.
Digital buyers will be utterly spoiled with not only the 3 DJ mixes but all 45 tracks in their full 12″ glory !
Each of the tracks have featured in Marks’ sets over the last few years and form the basis of the Fierce Angel sound. Massive hooks, terrific vocals and packed solid with hands in the air moments. Unashamedly commercial and not seeking to educate anyone this is a 3 mix Fierce extravaganza.
We won’t go into extensive detail about all the tracks as if you have been following Fierce Angel you will know all about them. CD1 features a number of mixes by the king of disco house Moto Blanco. He has remixed some of the biggest names in the charts and his unique piano driven disco house gives this first CD extra-added Fierceness. Our favourite in-house band Fac 15 make an pop up and the Freemasons make the first of two appearances on this album. CD2 features a more electronic driving sound although the big vocals and pianos still pop up here and there. Massive chart hits like “Weekend†and “Turn Me Out†rub shoulders with credible club monsters like “Sunset To Sunrise†and “The Answer.†This CD also includes a couple of exclusive mixes from Ultrabeat & Stunt that haven’t been released anywhere else.
CD3 is the Fierce Angel favourite and has Mark pulling some of the biggest fierce house anthems from the last 5 years. Each track has been a massive hit in the club charts and forms the definitive guide to Fierce Disco. From classics like “Feeling Love,†“Can’t Fake It†and “Shined On Me†to summer anthems like “You’ll Never Know,†and “So Many Times.†Fierce Angel throws down the gauntlet and defies anyone to not be up and dancing by the end of the mix and even though “Man In The Mirror†is a deliciously camp romp through the Michael Jackson original it’s absolutely fantastic and totally Fierce !
