For the fifth instalment of the Different Pieces story, Canadian producer Nick Bugayev has created two outstanding tracks that don’t let themselves be captured in one style. Nick has taken techno as inspiration for ‘Impromptu’, with a slick electric feel and a melodic progressive approach, resulting in a slightly psychedelic-edged creation. This is backed with ‘End Of The Line’, a groovy, mysterious deep track that shines with energy and originality.
Nick Bugayev decided to dedicate his life to music. Not only does he produce, he also performs, dj’s, programs, composes, teaches and breathes electronic dance music. A few months ago he moved to Berlin to see if living in techno-land could inspire and stimulate his creativity. He was lucky. Within a short matter of time, he became a resident DJ, started his own label, had a few big releases and received some good feedback from none other than Josh Gabriel, who snapped up these two outstanding tracks for Different Pieces.
