Having burst onto the global scene with her amazing DJ performances and the release of her debut mix compilation, ‘Mash Up’ in 2005, French DJ/Graf Artist/Designer/Producer Missill is back with her second mix album ‘Mix Shake’.
From the off, Missill takes us through 50 minutes of grimy beats and bass lines so dirty they will make the hardest of clubbers blush. All garnished with a distinctive funky hip-hop flavour, this album was made for the dance floor!
‘Mix Shake’ by name, ‘Mix Shake’ by right this mix boasts a sublimely versatile bag of newbies, mash-ups, unreleased and rare Tracks. Packing in an impressive 42 club smashing hits in total from the likes of Crookers, J-Dilla, SebAstian, Missill, Blaqstarr, Mr Oizo, Boys Noize, A-Trak, Buraka Som Sistema, Glitch Mob, Bobmo, Bloody Beetroots, Sinden and Count, Hadouken, Nadastrom and Shadow Dancer, there is evidently no shortage of quality in the tunes that keep your head nodding throughout. The seemingly effortless mixing and transitions between tracks on this album give the album an uncompromised flow that highlights how Missill got to where she is today.

I cannot disagree with this statement; "there is no shortage of quality in the tunes that keep your head nodding throughout."
Missill's artist album is not really to my taste, and this tracklisting is not normally my thing, but this album is banging!
