‘Kingston Book’ is the debut EP by Talen – two DJs and two producers based in Winterthur, Switzerland. The 12″ vinyl is available to purchase on Swiss label Mouthwatering Records and contain free codes to download extra bonus tracks.
‘Kingston Book’ features Jamaican artists Cutty Ranks and Sizzla, with remixes by Sterotyp and Markus Kienzl. ‘Sniper Sniper’ is a straight-forward bass track that shoots from the hip. With his gruff voice, the dancehall ‘don danna’ – moves in total sync with the beat. This is a weapon of choice for any soundsystem. On the original version of ‘The Vibes’ Sizzla and Talen create a mighty track with a playful beat.
