The boys have been busy in the studio writing new singles for their label For Lovers, getting amazing support from A-trak, Crookers, Sinden, Switch, Skream, Alex Metric & Steve Aoki as well as huge props from the UK dance press with MIXMAG, DJ & IDJ all being big fans… the guys have also been busy with some sterling remixes for The Gorillaz, Temper Trap, Spleen, Camu Tao & Mason.

“Oh! We seem to have started a record label; well it doesn’t actually sell physical records but it releases music in a futuristic method we don’t quite understand. We couldn’t think of a name for it so just took the title of one of our old tracks ‘For Lovers, Not Fighters’ and shortened it to ‘For Lovers’. We think it works quite nicely: A: It’s self referential B: It’s a wonderful sentiment and C: It represents us and our target audience perfectly.

Evil Nine will be releasing a digital only compilation titled ‘Evil Nine Love Marine Parade’ to coincide with their forthcoming Australian tour.

The boys have just finished recording their new single ‘No Manners’ which features South African artist Spoek Mathambo, the track is currently being remixed by Arveene & Misk and will be released in February on Marine Parade.

The Evils are also working on material with Leftfield hip hop star B Dolen from the ultra DOPE US label Strange Famous.
