Pure Pacha Ibiza entered its 7th year in formidable fashion last week with their renowned opening party, which featured Sander Kleinenberg at the helm as new Pure Pacha resident and his special guests, Basement Jaxx.

Sander has been a regular fixture at the Balearic landmark for many years and was joint resident with Axwell last year. After years of playing Pure Pacha, hosting such an artistic show himself and generally smashing it in the club last year, it seemed only right that Sander take the reign and become involved with the music programming and creative art direction of Pure Pacha.…

Electronic music’s premier outfit, Swedish House Mafia, have announced they’ll be taking over Monday’s at Pacha, Ibiza from 22 June. Comprising Axwell, Steve Angello, and Sebastian Ingrosso, SHM will be far bringing their show to the island every week.

The night’s theme, ‘The Dark Forest’, draws on the iconography of North European fantasy, and harks back to the Romanesque parties that gave Ibiza its first taste of pleasure.
